Open Question: How many crunches do I need to do?

I have just strated going on the South Beach Diet :) & i go to the gym for 30-60 mins, 5 days a week. I do 20 mins on cross trainer, 10 mins rowing, 20 mins treadmil or bike etc.. But I wanna nice flat tummy... But I always hear negative things about doing crunches, like how they don't work etc. But do they? & how many do I need to do to have a nice flat stomach? :) thanks, guys!

Open Question: Is this a Healthy Schedule?

This is what I usually do on an average day. I wake up at like 12:30PM and I have a smoothie with strawberries, a banana,low fat milk, low fat yogurt, and a bit of protein powder. Then I go downstairs and I usually watch some TV for 30 minutes, then I will lift some weights for 30 minutes or so. Then I relax a little bit. After that, I run on the treadmill for around 7-10 minutes, usually 4-6minutes of jogging and 3- 4 minutes of walking, after about an hour of watching some more TV or Playing some games, I will go on a 20 minute bike ride, some days I go swimming sometime around those for like 2 hours. Then at like 4PM I have a little snack, something like applesauce, an apple, some blueberries raspberries and grapes. Then I relax a little bit and I lift weights while watching TV or listening to music until it is dinner time. For dinner I don't really know what I always have, but it is usually like 500-600 calories, maybe a little less, I am not %100 sure. Then I go and either go on another bike ride for like 5 minutes to 10 minutes, or I lift weights, do push ups, and crunches. I try to do tug ups but I can only do like one, so I am trying to receive stronger by lifting weights. I am 5 feet tall and I weigh 130 pounds, so I am trying to lose weight, I am 12 years old, almost 13 and I am a boy. Only serious answers, if it is a good schedule, please say so, if there are anything i could improve on please tell me. thanks! :) PS: If anyone could tell me how many calories I would lose on average from this diet without the swimming please let me know :)

bought a new hero honda hunk and engine gets quickly heat up . i also changed the engine oil at 500km still it becomes very hot after running 5 km it has run 1005 kms now .. should i change the engine oil at next service at 2500 km as i m not sure that the workshop mechanic has changed the engine oil?

Open Question: Do you know what I need?

I've have knee pains in both knees, and on several occasions I'd be running in sports, and I would just collapse, I'm 13 years old, so quite young for having my bones worn down like when you receive older. Where I used to live, I went to the doctor, and the doctor just put a temporary bandage on one of my knees (the one that hurt at the time, now both of them hurt) And I've been reducing the pain by ice, but after the ice, they just sting (not from being numb, from pain) and because I don't have medical insurance yet (I moved to America 4 weeks ago) And 2 weeks ago I was swimming every day, but I took a 2 week brake, and the pain is just the same, I haven't gone running or biking yet, but usually my knee will start to hurt about 2 minutes into the run, or 30 minutes into the bike ride... I've been attempting to research knee surgery, but I can't find a lot of information on it, can someone also send me links about it, or information?

Open Question: What kind of character does this sound like?

Walking Down the road. Its concrete I'm walking on, sure the little black bits don't count, but the majority is called concrete. One step turns into two, then three, and soon I'm walking, its very common. Most people walk. The sounds of peoples different shoes on the difficult surface of the sidewalk, is very chaotic. No pattern, no rhythm, no grace. I walk with grace. No her name isn't Grace, I don't walk with a girl, or boy or anyone real. I walk with a type of walk that is graceful, full of smooth movements and naturally flowing footsteps. I have to walk, so I do it well. Then again, I could hop, run, skip, crawl, cartwheel, roll and... jump on someones back at yell at them to carry me where I wanted to go. At least if I did the latter my worn down old shoes wouldn't make that dreadful sound when I walked. No, no. I'll walk. Not on the road, that's usually for cars, and people with bikes, and people in parades. Walk on the footpath, that's why its called the footpath? People walk on it. There are joggers, business men (and women) who look important when they aren't, stylish groups of young people, far too slow old people, the occasional child and mom walking hand in hand to school. First step off the steps I am standing on. *Pompscrch* Ugh, I need some good shoes, like that business man is wearing, or that jogger; they look good. Oh, keep walking. Step after step after step, step, step. Yes I am walking with grace, rhythm and... tranquility. I can keep this up. There's something about these people walking past, about their attitude. They have something I don't have. That mom and child are entering an ice cream store across the road, a casually dressed lady sits down outside the cafe, on a blue seat. They are every going somewhere. Where am I going? I'm trying to achieve a unique state of mind. This will not fill up a whole book, that would be too annoying. But this is a characters perspective. Nice. Thank you for your time and effort. It's not supposed to be well written, its supposed to be written by a simple minded character who look's the world differently. On re-read, it does sound very awkward. It's not a story, its a state of mind of a certain, odd individual. So it's not telling a story, well. It's a wierd character trying to walk

I am 13. and one day we were at the school playground me and about 5 friends and we were taking pictures. these guys were playing football and 'accidentally' threw the football to were we were. we took the football hid it and didn't give it back for an hour as a joke. and after we gave it back me and my friends every left. then me and my pal (let's call her jenna) were riding bikes around my neighborhood and seen them driving (they are 18) they yelled the name of the school and told us to go there. so we did. then we started talking and we found out there names.. then when i got home i had a facebook request from one so i added him. well he started telling me i was cute and was like who do you like?? and i felt bad because earlier in the conversation he was talking about how no one likes him and that he feels lonely so i (outta sympathy) said i like him then he goes i like you! and i freaked i was like your 18!!!!!! and he goes so!!! and then he started freaking out because i wouldn't date him!! then when i was at my friends playing basketball they drove down the strett (twice!!) then kept texting me :( okay so here are my questions 1. is it my fault for saying i like him? 2. What would you do in my shoes? 3. Am i overreacting??

Open Question: "I wanna ride." Honda promotion? Is it a good deal?

Ok so I'm looking into some bikes and this promotion keeps popping up in my face everywhere. is this a good deal i mean the "LOW FIXED RATE" sounds tempting. also my BIG question is could i even receive it financed if both my parents and me every co-singed, but their credit score is 0? could i show my pay stubs? also how "low" are these rates usually? say for an '09 230L would it be like $700/month or more like $50/month? (i know it depends on alot of things but im asking generally) and if you don't have an answer specifically to my question over, have you had a bike financed before? has it turned out well? has anyone here actually tried this new Honda promotion? Open Question: if you put a masked plover egg in a container of water and the egg moves does this mean its ready to hatch?

the other day i was riding my bike up and down my road and i have a spurwinged plover egg on the side of the road,it has been abanoned because the parents havent came back, so i took it inside and incubabted it in a card board box wih a 40 watt lamp, i wanted to know if it was a furtile egg because it would be no point to look after it if it wasnt, so i filled up a tiny container of warm water and put the egg in slowly, the top of the big half of the egg was poking out of the water and the relax of the egg was below the water surface,, the egg was then moving like it was dancing a bit, does this mean its going to hatch shortly/in a couple of days? please answer my questions asap :) thanks
